Professional Society Activities

Prof. Arkajyoti Pandit set out on his journey of academics with the esteemed St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Kolkata in 2021. He is presently an Assistant Professor of Accounting and Finance in the Substantive Post at the Department of Commerce (Evening) of Bidhan Chandra College. Prof. Pandit studied under full scholarship in the B.Com (Morning) department of St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. After that he completed his Post-Graduation in Finance from the University of Calcutta and simultaneously qualified UGC-NET & JRF as well as WB-SET in 2019. Prof. Arkajyoti believes in applying the intricacies of Commerce to solve societal problems, and that’s why pursued a course in Applied Sociology from University Grants Commission (UGC).He started off with his Ph.D from Burdwan University in 2021.Apart from his research papers finding place in a host of National and International Journals, Prof. Arkajyoti is a published poet with a dozen of his poetry featuring in reputed International Anthol
