The teachers share a familial bonding with the students which is fostered through different curriculum related and co-curricular activities. The departmental wall magazine entitled “Sphuran” is published annually on Teachers’ Day. The students and the teachers of the department participate in educational trips. The objective of these activities is to strengthen the teacher student bond and to find joy in exploring and learning together. Cultural events are also organized by the department on different occasions like Teachers’ Day, Basanta Utsav, Agomoni, Annual Function etc.

- A Webinar was held organized in collaboration with the Department of Mathematics and Electronics on 20th June, 2020 titled “Managing Stress and Worry During the Outbreak of COVID-19”
- A One-Day National Level Seminar was organized on 19th August, 2018 titled “Religion & Culture: An Indian Perspective”
- A One-Day National Level Seminar was organized on 4th March, 2017 titled “Yoga: The Path of Self-Realization”
